I have two problems. It started with my tail-light going out and in trying to figure out how to fix that, I found that I couldn't get the back door open, the lock is jammed and the auto lock won't open it. So - if you know a way to change the taillight on the drivers side without opening the tailgate, that would be helpful, but I'll still need to know how to fix that dang door. Thanks! (I already tried going in through the hole where they put the jack in the wall behind the light and it's blocked so you can't get to it :( - that I can tell anyway...)Town and Country van 1997. know how to get the back lift door open if the lock is jammed?
You have to remove the inside door panel then you should be able to get to the lock and latch assembly.Town and Country van 1997. know how to get the back lift door open if the lock is jammed?
ive seen people use screw drivers to turn the latch
