Just wondering how easy it is to access both of these different things. How to change oil in a 96 jeep grand cherokee and how to replace a rear tail light as well.?
no sweat real easy. oil drain plug is on the bottom of oil pan. you will need to slide underneath to get at it. oil filter is on the side of the block, get that while you're down there. rear light, get at them from the inside rear panel. nothin to it. go fo it.How to change oil in a 96 jeep grand cherokee and how to replace a rear tail light as well.?
the tail light you can access by opening your trunk (lift gate) and looking at the lens there should be some Philips (+) head screws. after you remove them the lens assembly will come right off you van then twist the bulb holders and remove the bulbs. the oil change part of your question you should probably have a friend walk you through this process. if you don't do it right you could really screw something up.How to change oil in a 96 jeep grand cherokee and how to replace a rear tail light as well.?
It's easier said than done, simply get in your Jeep, start it up and drive it over to your local mechanics garage and pay him to change the oil and replace the bulb.

Then you can run around and tell your friends you just changed your oil and replaced the light for under $30.00 and the best part about it was you never even got dirty doing it.

Remember this: If you take your car to like any shop and they forget to tighten the drain plug and after you leave and you're driving down the street the oil leaks out and the engine locks up. Guess who's paying for the repairs? Not you, but that shop is.

Good Luck
